Photo Gallery – 6th stop – L’Espinas

In a remote part of the Cevennes, overlooking the mountains, the day and night of a full moon, Le Bazar Roulant team again unpacked its caravans, trucks and trailers to set up the 6th event on the tour.

Because of its remoteness, and the fresh evening air (read: 2 degrees), we weren’t sure what to expect. How many children would take part in the workshops? How many serves of nettle soup would we be able to take from the Soupe Populi dinner recital? For how many people would the musicians play?

The people of the district certainly did not disappoint. Braving the cold, they came in numbers and we work-shoped, enjoyed performances, exchanged at the free market, and danced our way into the night…

Thank you L’Espinas – it was fantastic!

Timelapse video: construction of the Givebox in L’Espinas

At L’Espinas, our last stop, we were invited to construct a permanent Givebox and install it in front of the Mas de l’Espinas, the bistro run by the association Epi de Mains (and consequently the association who lodged us). Here are six hours of work compressed into one minute and thirty seconds of timelapse.

Following each event, Moviemiento, the travelling cinema association from Berlin, creates a short documentary of the tour up until that point, to give audiences of the short film screenings an idea of the project, the work involved, and of course for the team themselves, to remind us of how amazing the tour has been. Here it is, as of L’Espinas.

“Eating is GOOOD!” – Daniel, Soupe Populi

Throughout the tour, we’ve been graced by the company and wise words of Daniel and Véronique during their Soup Kitchen Recital: “Eating is Gooooood”.

We couldn’t agree more. And there’s no spice quite like the great outdoors…

Photo Gallery: Behind the scenes & the beautiful Cevennes

For Le Bazar Roulant Crew, the in-between days of our events are just as rich and fulfilling as when we’re putting on a show.

Here are a few behind the scenes photos of our travels, our camping and caravan spots, and of the general goings on throughout our days.

It’s an absolute pleasure.
