PROJECT BACKGROUND

In September 2012, the first touring project took place, entitled Le Rêve Roulant. It was a Franco-German project realised by two partner organisations, one Gardoise, La Fée Nadou, the other from Berlin, Moviemiento. The cultural project explored the theme of utopia, and was supported by the Robert Bosch foundation. The aim of the project was to tour a short film festival over the course of 15 days in the Ardèche à l’Hérault, passing through the Cévennes Gardoises.

Notably, Le Rêve Roulant was awarded the “On y va – Auf geht’s” prize for the best Franco-German project supported by the Robert Bosch Foundation.

Le Rêve Roulant

Two years later, after the success of the first edition, the young Atelier T.O.U.P.I.E association fronts a new tour, focused this time on upcycling and founded on the concept of ‘Giveboxes’. With Moviemiento and La Fée Nadou again on board, and supported by the Robert Bosch foundation, Le Bazar Roulant’s wheels are now in motion; the energy of all parts giving rise to others. Since May 2013, the tour has thus been discussed and organised by the three partner associations to create a cultural programme that is geared towards environmental awareness.

Le Bazar Roulant tour will go from the 1st to the 17th of May, 2014, in the Cévènnes Gardoises and Lozériennes.
