Last night saw the very first evening of Le Bazar Roulant – and marked the colourful and energetic beginning of the 2-week tour! The “Collectif Créatif du Castelas” was the venue for the first evening of the project. In this magnificent location, Thierry welcomed us, as well as another sixty-odd guests, before we started the first part of the evening at 8pm: a dinner-recital hosted by Daniel and Valerie; “original” couple who did not turn their backs to the ladle but instead reanimated a soup kitchen which had fallen to disuse.

The soup dinner recital was followed by a burlesque show, “Label Graine que voilà”, performed by a voluptuous and cynical surrogate mother…

Moviemiento then screened a selection of short films treating the themes ‘rebirth’ and ‘recycling’, and the evening was closed by a concert by the Magiciens du Quotidien from Marseille. Our hips began to sway, knees began to bounce, and we were invited to get rid of some excess energy accumulated over a very relaxed day…

All in all, a beautiful first evening which left us impatient and incredibly excited to see you all in Prés Saint Jean next Wednesday. Meet us at 4pm at the market. More information can be found in the “Program” section!
